SBI PO Age Limits : Age of the candidates should be between 21 to 30 years as on 1^st January 2013. Age relaxations applicable for reserved category candidates as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualifications :
Candidates must posses Graduation in any discipline or its equivalent qualification from recognized university.
SBI PO Selection Procedure : Selection of the candidates for probationary officers will be done in 2 phases.
Phase-I: Written Examination.
Phase-II: Group Discussion & Interview.
Written Examination will be in Objective & Descriptive type. Total 250 Marks.
Objective Test : 200 Marks
Objective Test will be of 2 hours duration consists 4 sections each section carry 50 marks.
1. Test of English Language
2. Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
3. Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
4. Test of Reasoning
Descriptive Type Test: 50 Marks
Test will be of 1 hour duration on Test of English Language (Comprehension, Short precis, Letter Writing & Essay)
Group Discussion for 20 marks & Interview for 30 marks will be conducted for qualified candidates in written test.
Final Selection is based on the merit in both Written Test & GD, Interview.
State Bank of India Probationary Officers PO Pay Scale : Rs.14,500/- to Rs.25,700/-
Application Fee : Candidates need to pay Rs.200/- as fee for General Category Candidates. Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
